Saturday 04 July: Germany's biggest for-free music festival in Bonn

Hi,

this Saturday, Germany's biggest open air free-of-charge festival the "Rheinkultur" is taking place in the Rheinaue here in Bonn.

There are 5 stages, showing all kinds of music including rock, hiphop, electronic music etc.

It starts at 12 o'clock and ends around midnight.

As stated above, entrance is FREE.

Please note: It is not allowed to bring beverages on the festival area, except 1 litre of water in a Tetrapack (Drink carton).

As it is my last weekend as an UN Intern here in Bonn, I was thinking about doing a "Farewell Barbecue" on the Beuel Side around noon, so we can have some drinks and food and then go to the festival in the afternoon.
However, the weather forecast predicts rain for Saturday, so I will let you know later this week if it will take place or not.

Anyways, I would be glad to see you all there!!!

Okay, due to the weather forecast predicting rain for saturday, let's skip the BBQ...
I would suggest we meet at 4 p.m. maybe outside the UN building at the Kiosk and then walk to the festival from here.
